So whether it's standard pads or predator pads that you are after, have a browse of our online store to find the right product for your exact vehicle.
Brake pads are an essential part of any vehicle's braking system and, without them, your car would not be able to halt or slow down effectively - meaning it would not be roadworthy. Brake pads that are wearing down will impact the performance of your vehicle, and you will likely be able to feel when they start to become less effective. They work when the brakes of your car are applied; the caliper squeezes the two pads on each wheel together against the spinning rotor. This slows or stops the motion of the wheel. If you feel your vehicle is not responding well to braking, it could be time to change your pads.
At Black Diamond, all of our brake pads are of the highest possible standard. Each pad has been made to meet the manufacturers' requirements to provide you with the highest performance and safest drive possible. We have access to an unrivalled selection of brake pads and other vehicle safety accessories and parts, meaning that we are able to offer you prices that are among the most competitive on the market. Japan’s biggest-selling brand of luxury, premium cars, Lexus is the prestige division of the Toyota Motor Corporation. Lexus originated from a challenge put forward by the founder Eiji Toyoda to design and manufacture the world’s best car.
Although Lexus first came about in 1989, it wasn’t until 2005 that it became globally recognised in the market in its own right.
Back in 2011, sales commenced of Lexus’s hybrid hatchback, the CT 200h, with the intention of targeting Europe’s multiple markets. However, the Japanese earthquake and tsunami of March that year damaged Lexus’s production lines substantially, leading to the marque no longer being the top-selling premium brand in America.
Nowadays, the brand’s hybrid fortunes have returned with the F SPORT. Unlike standard electric cars or plug-in hybrids, the F SPORT does not require connection to a power socket as they’re self-charging so always ready to go.
In the year 2000, the IS line - a series of entry-level sports sedans - was unveiled by Lexus, and the SC 430, the brand’s first convertible, debuted the following year. Lexus’s run of success continued in the years afterwards too, with the introduction of two mid-sized SUVs (the SC 430 and LS 430) in 2002 and ‘03 respectively.
Lexus’s two-millionth vehicle sold in the USA in 2004, and it subsequently separated from its parent company, Toyota the following year. Later in 2005, Lexus dipped its toe into the Japanese market and a new line of models was put on sale there. This was successfully followed by sales in North Korea and Taiwan, where Lexus became the bestselling import brand to date. They also progressed well in the Middle East and Australia, after which followed more official launches in Malaysia and South Africa 2006. Launches then took place in Indonesia in 2007, Chile in 2008 and the Philippines in 2009.
